Oak Value Bets Big on "Blood"

Larry Coats, president and CEO of Oak Value Capital Management in Durham, N.C. and co-manager of the Oak Value Fund, may not be a fan of war movies, but he likes the sight of blood. When it comes to investment strategy, he is fond of quoting John D. Rockefeller, the tycoon of Standard Oil fame, who once said, 'The way to make money is to buy when blood is running in the streets.'
