New Trustees for Illinois Teacher Plan

Illinois Governor Pat Quinn has named six new trustees to the board of the Teachers' Retirement System of the State of Illinois (TRS), the plan has announced. The appointments follow the signing of Senate Bill 364 into law as Public Act 96-0006, which changed the size and layout of the plan's board and terminated the terms of several of the board's then-current members.
