Were boosting the team ahead of need, he said regarding Morris joining the firm. Cornerstone currently has $600 million in assets under management.
Meanwhile, Bill Hensel, spokesman for Invesco explained that the Atlanta Investment Center of Invesco, which manages international and global equities, made the decision to move toward global sector coverage. Morris only managed U.S. financials. His responsibilities have been assumed by Frank Crown, who has been with Invesco since 1995 and currently covers non-U.S. financials, and Michele Garren, a senior member of the investment team since joining in 1997, Hensel said.
