*Rockefeller & Co. has named Jon Pratt as managing director for institutional relationships. Pratt will report to James McDonald, CEO and president of the firm. Prior to joining Rockefeller, Pratt was a managing director and head of Asia-Pacific debt origination at Merrill Lynch.

*OppenheimerFunds has named Krishna Memani as a senior VP and head of the firm's high-grade fixed-income team. Before joining OppenheimerFunds, Memani was a managing director and head of Deutsche Bank's U.S. and European credit analyst team.

*Robert Emmert has joined private equity firm McCarthy Capital as a partner. He will be based in the firm's Boston office and will manage the Eastern U.S. region for McCarthy. Previously, Emmert was a general partner with Alta Communications.

*NewOak Capital has named Edward Napoli as managing director of business development and assistant general counsel. Prior to joining NewOak, Napoli was an attorney with the law firm of Dechert.

*Steve Wiltshire is leaving his position as CIO for Europe, Middle East and African with Russell Investments at the end of the month. Wiltshire is leaving Russell to form his own consulting firm, SW1 Consulting. Wiltshire first joined Russell in 1988. His duties with the firm will be divided amongst existing employees.

*Barclays Global Investors (BGI) has named David Gagnon as director of transition strategy, a new position with the firm, in which he will report to Lachlan French, head of transitions for Europe and Asia ex-Japan. Gagnon was previously a director in Lehman Brothers's transition management group, which was acquired by Nomura International.

*Lauren Garner has joined Goldentree Asset Management as a research analyst. She will focus on distressed investments.

*Aviva has named Robert Ranges as head of business development for Aviva Investors North America, a new position in which he will oversee sales, product development, marketing and client service strategies. Prior to joining Aviva, Ranges was head of institutional sales at Dreman Value Management.

*Quadrangle Asset Management has named three new principals. Howard Margolis is director of real assets, Tushar Shah is director of public markets and Sigurd Strack is director of private equity. Margolis was a managing director at Black Creek Capital, while Shah was a principal at Perella Weinberg Partners and Strack was a co-founder of Headlands Capital Management.
